This tour is themed around the Japan Heritage story “Kirin no Machi.”

The main theme of the story is the wind blowing in from the Sea of Japan.

The landscapes and hidden scenic spots shaped by the wind—through sand, waves, and snow—and the traditional Kirin Lion Dance, which has been passed down through harsh seasonal winds, all form the narrative of this heritage.

During the tour, you will have opportunities to experience cultural assets that make up the Japan Heritage.

This tour follows the theme “A trail along the coast and fishing towns. Walk along the scenic Uradome Coast, part of the San’in Kaigan Geopark, which is also recognized as a UNESCO Global Geopark.

※The San’in Kaigan Geopark stretches 120 km east to west from Kyogamisaki in Kyotango City, Kyoto Prefecture, to Aoya Coast in Tottori City, and up to 30 km long from north to south. The San’in Kaigan Geotrail is a hiking course through this area, offering views of unique coastal formations such as sea caves, arches, and cliffs.

12:00 Arrive at Uradome Coast Sightseeing Boat Terminal, tour ends
